Project: Biodiesel Waste Water Treatment Plant
Description:
Project constituted the construction and commissioning of a water treatment plant accepting duel-stream industrial waste by-products from Render and Biodiesel manufacturing processes.

The plant was required to ensure the effective treatment of waste and guarantee a treatment discharge which was suitable for local irrigation purposes, in compliance with legislation of the Environmental Protection Authority


Project & Design Requirements:

• Design and construction of biological and chemical treatment processes
• Transformation of Greenfield site
• Minimisation of environmental impacts
• Short timeframe for project establishment and completion
• Design of pump and pipework systems, rising mains and storm water drainage
• Full compliance with OH&S legislative requirements
• Tender Management
• Full responsibility for all project and construction management services
• Ad-hoc design and resolutions for economical construction methods
• Preparation of project schedules and construction budgets
• Site management and inspections
• Liaison and consultation between stakeholders
• Concept development, design and detailing
• Provision of ongoing and continuous engineering support for all construction activities
